Once the spindle is received, we do a complete analysis in order to make sure that all components whether they are (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic or electric) are working or not. We then dissasemble the completely to the last bolt and measure each part according to the manufacturer's specifications using high-end equipement and temperature controlled room.
Exposure of the spindle
problem and detailed quote
Once testing, measuring and complete assessment are done, a detailed quote with pictures showing all damaged parts, repair solutions and delays will be sent to the customer. Once approved, the magic will start!
Repair process
The repairs made on the spindle may change depending the problems that were identified. This includes; in-house machining or grinding of parts (spacers, bearing housing, bearing support, taper grind and more...), OEM bearings replacement, seals, o-rings, encoder, rotary union, stator winding, dynamic balancing and assembly. All done in a positive pressure and temperature controlled room to prevent contamination of new installed parts into the spindle.
Final testing and quality control
At last, once the spindle is fully assembled, it will be tested on one of our special test benches for hours making sure all features are working like if it was installed on your machine. When we will ship the spindle, a final testing and control quality report will be provided about the general aspect of it to our customer.
